Hi! I’m Amber, the owner and lead artist behind our bridal hair and makeup team here in Connecticut.
I’ve been a makeup artist since 2015 and have had the honor of being part of more than 1,000 weddings. I’m also the one behind all the emails—so when you reach out, you’re chatting directly with me! My goal is to create a warm, stress-free, and genuinely supportive experience from the moment you inquire to the final touch on your wedding day. With a passion for soft, timeless beauty and a team that shares the same dedication, we’re here to make your wedding morning smooth, joyful, and unforgettable. Lidia is a licensed cosmetologist & barber, who has worked in salons and as a freelance makeup artist. She loves to create all beauty looks, from natural to full glam.

Megan has been a licensed cosmetologist since graduating Paul Mitchell school in 2015. She has worked in several salons and freelancing since. She has worked Hartford fashion week with us and has many weddings under her belt.

Adrienne
makeup artist
Adrienne and I met on set of a film that we were both working on. She was telling me how much she enjoyed doing wedding makeup and she's been on the team ever since!
When Adrienne's not tending to her kiddos you can find her in the local theaters and singing. If you're lucky enough you might even hear her sing during your appointment.

Grace has loved doing hair and makeup since high school. She has always enjoyed getting her friends and other dressed up for events. She went to school for cosmetology and has been doing it ever since.
Other than working weddings and in the salon, Grace loves to spend time with her beagles and sweet baby boy.

Annie graduated Brio Academy of Cosmetology in 2013. Since graduating she's worked for various beauty teams in CT. When she's not working weddings you can find her behind the Charlotte Tilbury counter at Nordstrom.

Lisa is our newest member of the team. She graduated barber school at the beginning of 2023. She offers a wide variety of men's services as well as women's hairstyling.

Kristy graduated from hair school in 2000. Since becoming a licensed hairstylist she has worked in several salons. Kristy grew fond of styling for special events/weddings and has been a true asset to our team ever since.

the meaning behind the name
In my native culture smudging is a ceremony that is done in order to purify the body, aura, energy, and space. I have the same concept with my clients. My clients will always leave feeling refreshed and confident. Smudge is all about making everyone feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. It is very important to me that my clients know how beautiful they are without the makeup and that I am simply enhancing their features, not changing them.
